Scott Allen, MD

Dr. Scott Allen, MD is the medical director and founder of Satori Health and Wellness. He is a board-certified anesthesiologist, practicing both hospital-based medicine and outpatient mental health services. Dr. Allen is a national leader in the emerging field of ketamine and psychedelic medicine. He has two little girls and loves spending time in the desert.

Aaron Vasquez, MD, MBA

Dr. Aaron Vazquez is a board-certified psychiatrist. He has an interest in caring for patients that are deemed “treatment-resistant” to conventional treatment. He uses an eclectic approach to care for his patients suffering severe physical and emotional pain. He enjoys helping patients recover from addiction and trauma. He uses psychotherapy, medication-assisted treatments (MAT) and ketamine in his practice. He believes that other non-ordinary treatments hold promise in mental health such as hormone therapy for Major Depressive Disorder, Psychedelics for PTSD, and cannabis for several ailments. He is focused on de-stigmatizing cannabis in Southern Utah through education and promoting safe and responsible use. Medical cannabis is legal throughout Utah and can be helpful to reduce or eliminate the use of more dangerous, traditional medication such as opioids.

Katrina Poulsen, FNP

Katrina Poulsen, FNP grew up in southern Utah and became a 3rd generation nurse in 2007. Since then, she has developed a true passion for caring for those in her community. Her devotion to providing the best patient care led her to pursuing her Master’s degree in Nursing, and she graduated from Chamberlain University in 2020 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Katrina has a special interest in helping those with depression and anxiety, both due to her own experiences and the experiences of individuals close to her. Because of this, she is sincerely grateful for the opportunity to participate in ketamine treatments at Satori and assist others in their personal journey to wellness

Cheyenne Nelson, FNP

Cheyenne Nelson, FNP
Cheyenne is joining Satori as a Nurse Practitioner. Her motto is AHIMSA: to practice ahimsa means nonviolence, compassion, respect, and love toward all of creation. There is no better way to introduce her practice than this mantra, both professionally and personally. Cheyenne grew up in St. George and has spent the last ten years in healthcare— in ICU, surgical services, infusion therapy, and now as a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.

She strives to treat individuals and humans first, patients second. Everyone has a story to tell and their ailments are but a small portion. Satori embodies this approach and she’s grateful and honored to be a part of it!

Corey Warner, CRNA

I am a St. George native, therefore I love helping provide care to our community. I have been blessed with a beautiful wife and four adorable children. After receiving my RN from Dixie State, I attended SUU for my Bachelor’s in nursing then traveled to Pennsylvania for my Masters in Anesthesia at St. Vincent College. Upon graduating from anesthesia school in 2018, I worked in Arizona for a few years then moved back home to St. George. I have a great passion for spending time with my family as well as spending time outdoors. Working with Satori Health and Wellness has been a great experience by providing pain relief to patients through lidocaine infusions.
